Bradley Michelson

Industry Liaison at Tech Works

Bradley Michelson is the Director of Business Development for Idealist, a nonprofit online platform where 125,000 nonprofits around the world post social good job, internship, and volunteer opportunities. There, he leads the development of the organization’s first mobile app as well as strategic partnerships to enhance the overall mission. He is also a Manhattan landlord and was recently elected to a four-year term on the Stamford, Connecticut, Board of Representatives, where he resides.

Bradley currently is on the advisory board of Esusu, a social good financial technology start-up as well as TechWorks, a federally funded program to promote technology education to City University of New York students. He was a founding member of the Meatpacking District Initiative and is currently an organizational member of MIT Solve, Civic Hall, TechNYC, Campus Philly, as well as a NationSwell Council Member.

Bradley spent 15 years in the for-profit apparel and consumer goods industries building and managing several brands. He was the Managing Director for Triple C, which designs lifestyle technology products, Vice President of DDCLAB, a designer of high technology apparel.

Bradley graduated summa cum laude from State University of New York, Fashion Institute of Technology, where he studied International Trade & Marketing.
