Chris Kasabach

Watson Foundation

Chris Kasabach is an educator, entrepreneur and foundation leader. Over the last 25 years he has developed innovative, international organizations and programs in the areas of computing, connected healthcare, education, and the arts.

Chris is the Executive Director of the Watson Foundation, named for the IBM leader, and responsible for the organization's strategy, staff, budgets, operations and partnerships. Watson expands the vision and develops the potential of remarkable students. Celebrating 50 years in 2018 the foundation works closely with over 100 global partners to deliver the Watson Fellowships.

Each year, Watson Campus Advisors on CUNY (and several other NYC) campuses, nominate freshman and sophomore students to the JK Watson Fellowship, a three-year program that provides the resources and support to rapidly accelerate students' personal, professional and cultural aspirations. The fellowship does this through an immersive program of diverse paid summer internships at local and global organizations, personal mentorship, and a cohort of peers.
