DIRC21 Agenda
Explore all the ways you can engage with DEI content, researchers, practitioners, and colleagues.
Pre-recorded talks will be available to attendees on November 10, with LIVE content November 17-19.
DIRC21 offers every attendee the opportunity to create a customized experience that suits their interests and their level along the D&I journey.
To facilitate the customized experience, DIRC21 offers content in a variety of formats and a mixture of live and always-on experiences.
-
Research Track
Solo TED-style talks and panels will showcase invited content that touches on timely topics, always with a consideration for the impact of D&I Research. We encourage all presenters to target a general audience. However, familiarity with basic concepts of D& is assumed. Check out our line-up of impressive presenters here.
-
Workshop and Experiences Track
After their great success in DIRC20, we are offering a significantly expanded set of workshops and interactive experiences that offer various types of D&I training, such as bystander response, racial equity, measuring inclusion, and much more. Other activities include playing D&I-related games, watching immersive videos, and other interactive experiences. View workshops and experiences here.
-
Disruptive Conversations Track
In these stimulating sessions, we bring together two luminaries from different fields to engage in a live, unscripted conversation about highly relevant topics. These sessions include live Q&A with the audience for maximum engagement.
-
Charitable Organizations Track
New in 2021, we are paying it forward by committing 10% of our revenues to support up to four small organizations conducting charitable work that aligns with DIRC’s mission of creating more inclusive and equitable societies. We will select eight (8) finalists, whose organizations will be featured on our website, and who will be given an opportunity to present their work during the live portion of the event. The four winners will be announced live during DIRC21. Learn more here.
-
Networking Track
Leveraging the Socio digital event platform, several opportunities will exist for attendees to network with one another. While the conference schedule will include some specific networking breaks, the platform makes it possible to engage with many people through a combination of desktop and mobile interfaces.
The opportunities to learn will continue long after the conclusion of the 3-day, live portion of DIRC21.
Most of the content will be available to all attendees for three months after the event, and will then be made available to the general public. Hence you will continue to be able to enjoy DIRC21 content indefinitely.
Every attendee, whether participating as an individual or as part of an organization, will be able to enjoy an invaluable experience that matches their interests and their level of familiarity with D&I.
Organizations who wish to demonstrate their support for D&I, can take advantage of a full range of sponsorships and bulk ticketing opportunities to leverage DIRC21 to give their employees, members and partners, access to a rich set of experiences. For a small fraction of the cost of a traditional, one-size-fits-all D&I training exercise, DIRC21 offers value for companies and organizations of any size in any sector.
