Mia Ricci is a senior publishing professional who oversees Wiley's US-based portfolio of food, earth, and environmental science journals, focusing on strategies and development to improve science communications and drive impact of academic research. Additionally, Mia initiated and lead Wiley's DE&I strategy across its research business, with a focus on improving the end-to-end author experience, editorial workflow (policies and practices), and diversity of journal editorial boards. She is also co-founder and co-chair of Wiley’s first Asian & Pacific Islander Employee Resource Group and co-chair of the Communications and Outreach Committee for the Coalition for Diversity & Inclusion in Scholarly Communications (C4DISC). With nearly fifteen years of experience driving change in scientific publishing, she is a dedicated DE&I champion and skilled people manager.
