Lindsay Siegel

Zahn Center

Lindsay Siegel passionate about helping build organizations that effectively and efficiently disrupt the status quo. She joined the Zahn Innovation Center in February 2014. It has been her mission to reach all of City College students with the opportunity of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial thinking.

Prior to joining City College, Ms. Siegel served as Associate Director for the Center for Globalization and Sustainable Development at the Earth Institute, Columbia University. There, she built relationships between the University and governments in developing economies for research and development projects in countries including East Timor, Myanmar, Jordan, Haiti and Honduras.

Previously, she worked with Fortune 500 CEOs and their Foundation Presidents, leading programs to increase corporate philanthropic giving on behalf of the Committee Encouraging Corporate Philanthropy. Ms. Siegel’s experience also spans corporate and government programming positions, with Diversified Agency Services at Omnicom Group and the City of Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs. During business school, she spent a summer as an associate at Acumen, the premier impact investing nonprofit organization in NY.

Most influential in the early days of her career, Ms. Siegel spent two years in Ecuador serving as General Manager for a remote ecolodge and bed and breakfast. She experienced first-hand the power of business to drive positive social impact.

Ms. Siegel holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management and a B.S. from Northwestern University.
