Michele Valdez
Director at TechHire
Michele Valdez is the Director of LaGuardia Community College’s TechHIRE Open Code program, which provides training for unemployed and underemployed young adults to prepare them for careers in technology. Michele has led workforce initiatives focusing on tech, healthcare, retail and sustainability in LaGuardia’s Division of Continuing Education for over 10 years. She previously worked as the Director of Workforce Development for the New York Software Industry Association.
