Principal Workforce Analytics Manager & Consultant, Mercer
Karyn Marciniak is a Principal in Mercer’s Workforce Strategy & Analytics practice. Based in New York, she helps organizations pinpoint areas of focus and identify specific action steps to improve diversity and inclusion within the workplace. Karyn leads teams as they run statistical models using employee data, and translates those findings into actionable solutions for clients. Karyn has lead and managed dozens of global pay equity projects to ensure equal pay for equal work, and has run many internal labor market projects which helps organizations understand how their hiring, promotion, pay, and termination processes affect diverse populations. Karyn has also created predictive models to help organizations identify the internal processes to tweak to make the biggest improvements in diversity and inclusion.
Prior to joining Mercer, Karyn built and lead people analytics teams at Two Sigma and Facebook, running and managing HR analytical projects including engagement surveys, recruiting dashboard creation, hiring analytics, and predictive turnover modeling.
Karyn holds a bachelor’s of arts in psychology and sociology from Case Western Reserve University, and holds a master’s and Ph.D. in Human development and Family Science from the University of Texas at Austin.
