Sarah Liyanage-Denney (she/her)
Founder & CEO of KINSPACE
Sarah’s purpose is to help people better relate to themselves and each other — at home, at work, and in the community.
Deeply committed to advocating equitable participation for women in leadership and business, as a woman of colour, she has encountered significant barriers women face particularly in the workplace. This has driven her participation in a number of communities and initiatives to promote women in leadership across various Board, coaching, and mentoring appointments.
As Founder and CEO of KINSPACE, Sarah intentionally designed an operating model to increasingly provide opportunities for women, including those most marginalised, to participate equitably and with flexibility in the global economy. Coming from a diverse range of underrepresented groups, the team holds experience developing effective cross-cultural and cross-functional group cohesion across local and global markets.
At the centre of KINSPACE, the focus is on the life force of any organisation — the people. Taking an Intersectional lens to workplace culture and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (IDEI), its mission is to shift attitudes and behaviours to rebalance power dynamics.
KINSPACE uses leading interactive and immersive Virtual Reality technologies in partnership with Equal Reality, to build critical emotional intelligence skills for organisations. This helps organisations to deliver on strategic goals and transform attitudes, systems, policy and practices, ensuring they are responsive to, and equitable for all.
