Responsible Language for Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning
Are you interested in responsible innovation for artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML)? Do you support research and development of AI and ML systems that learn from and use human language?
As the use of AI and ML systems that learn from and using human language continue to grow across industries, we must understand how they can reinforce harmful biases. More, we must dare to build and leverage them to tackle racial inequities in society. In this interactive workshop, you will (a) learn about the links between language, power, race, and AI; and (b) delve into good leadership practices to advance responsible language in AI and ML.
Using language that supports racial equity and inclusion within AI and ML systems can promote positive norms and lead to a more inclusive product experience, while also better reflecting a company’s mission, ethical principles, and responsible innovation commitments.
